Category: 06. Time Measurement Group: current: 8.5a4 >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Submitted By: Donal K. Fellows (dkf) Assigned to: Kevin B KENNY (kennykb) Summary: wrong formatting of time long ago Initial Comment: With the HEAD: % clock format -100000000000 Thu Jan -309 15:13:20 BST 1199 I'm not aware of any epoch when January had -309 days in it... :-) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Kevin B KENNY (kennykb) Date: 2006-07-30 23:31 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=99768 Donal, you needn't be supercilious about it. :) Needless to say, there were a few bugs in handling dates before Year 1 of the Common Era. (And there are likely more, and do you think I want to hear about them?) The fix adds a new format group %EE to represent whether or not the date is in the Common Era. Documentation and tests updated accordingly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Donal K.
