Hello, thanks to Steffen for the nice tcl-carbon bindings! This days a user reported a problem with one of my programs that uses carbon::processHICommand. I use it to hide the program window with this command: carbon::processHICommand hide {} On my PPC-mac with OSX 10.4.11 (and all versions before) this works fine and hides the application. But on an intel-mac with the same OS-version the following error message is reported: -------------- snip -------------- Could not find menu item corresponding to commandID: OS Error: -5622. Could not process command: Carbon Event not handled. Could not find menu item corresponding to commandID: OS Error: -5622. Could not process command: Carbon Event not handled. while executing "carbon::processHICommand hide {}" (procedure "hideApp" line 3) invoked from within "hideApp" (command for "WM_DELETE_WINDOW" window manager protocol) -------------- snip -------------- (Yes, the -5622 is there two time) What can I do about this? I don't have an intel-mac to test this. What information is needed to find the problem? Ah: the application is an embedded starkit with the runtime basekit from ActiveTcl 8.5.0 and the carbon-libs are also from this package. Thank you Uwe Koloska |
