Summary: grid config rejects initial "x" and "^"

Initial Comment:

According to grid(n):

  grid configure slave ?slave ...? ?options?
    The arguments consist of the names of one or more
    slave windows followed by pairs of arguments that
    specify how to manage the slaves.  The characters
    -, x and ^, can be specified instead of a window
    name to alter the default location of a slave, as
    described in the ``RELATIVE  PLACEMENT'' section,
    below.

However:

    % grid configure x [label .l]
    bad argument "x": must be name of window

Furthermore this is a bizarre inconsistency with
the "shortcut" form of [grid configure]:

    % grid x [label .l]
    # No error!

I attach a patch that corrects the bug and clarifies
the documentation.
