This release contains several improvements, enhancements and bug fixes and is therefor a recommended update to all current users of task.

Task 1.9.1 has been released. This is a minor bug fix release with small enhancements.

In task 1.9.0, you will find many improvements, including:

Color
- 256-color support, for more interesting and subtle color control.
- Color 'blending' which is the mixing of foreground and background colors for when multiple color rules apply.
- Alternating line coloration.
- Color rules now match on partial project names, like filters.

The bug fix release 1.8.5 is now available. It is recommended to update to this version. 1.8.5 will be the last release in the 1.8 series. Further possible bug fixes will be released together with the upcoming 1.9.0 before we focus developement on the interactive version of task in 2.0.0.

Task 1.8.1 is now available with many bug fixes for download as FC10, FC11 and Ubuntu 9.04 packages, Leopard and Snow Leopard OS X packages or as source code. In fact, there are enough bug fixes that this is a recommended update for users of task 1.8.0.

Task 1.8.0 is now available for download as FC10, FC11 and Ubuntu 9.04 packages, OS X package or as source code tarball.
