hi I have tried your suggestion to verify my floopy disks. The diff didn't complain anythig. My floopy disks are all ok. The problem is still the same. My pc is CPU: celeron 450 x86 family 6 Model 6 stepping 5 Memory: 32M + 128M + 256M SDRAM Mainboard: GIGABYTE GA-6VXE+ VIA Apollo Pro AGPset VGA: nVidia TNT2 M64 My friend have tried these three images, then he found that one pc in his home can boot but another can't boot. The unbootable pc show the same message as mine. The bootable pc is cpu: AMD athlon 1.4G memory: 512 M Mainboard: GIGABYTE GA-7ZX-h VIA chip VGA: GforceMX400 The unbootable pc is cpu: Intel P-133 memory: 32 M Mainboard: asus VGA: Trio64 I and my friend guess may be the CPU or VGA to cause this problem. Could these images not be work for Intel CPU ?! Only for AMD CPU ??? Or may be error when probe the VGA ??? Or other problems ? Hope such information be helpful to figure out the problem. I would find other PCs to try these images. Thanks for everyone to help me.
