One of the reasons it would be good to get a SWORD rep is that this project currently promotes a SOAP-based model (developed by EUN) rather than the IETF-APP model that SWORD is based on. Also, if the proposal they make gets to CEN, then basically it means SWORD would not be allowed to become a European standard as it would be in conflict. Possibly UKOLN might be up for this?
