Hi all, I need to do the following: 1. In Java, create a class instance with method run() 2. Pass a reference to this run() method to a C function 3. Other C-functions will try to execute run() i.e. a classical callback scenario. I've seen the documentation on directors for C++ but I have not found any actual example on how to do this in pure C. I did find the following comment on this mailing list from 2007: "then write a small global *C*++ *callback* function with *C* linkage". However I'm not really sure what that would look like. Would it be possible for somebody to (for example) convert swig-examples/java/callback into pure C? Kind regards, Maarten |
