William, please review issue #1816842 that I posted last November and the patch I posted, which happens to still be compatible with SWIG 1.3.35. The .NET Framework is fundamentally Unicode-based (UTF-16) so I think it's important to support passing wide strings and wide string exceptions, and in the .NET Compact Framework it is mandatory to do so. http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1816842&group_i d=1645&atid=351645 I would be happy to work with you on more patches to complete the Unicode and .NET Compact Framework support.
