[Swig-user] Newbie help - statically linking?

Greetings...

I have an engine I want lua and/or python access to

I've added these interpreters to my engine... no problem.

Now to get C++ access.

All the docs say to compile the .cxx file into a DLL (which requires
compiling most of my engine as a DLL) and then using require (in the
case of Lua).

this is not what I want.

What I want is my engine to compile as a single EXE with the
interpreters and glue code inside.

Then, I use my engine to run lua and/or python code.

Can anyone help me?...  I've been on this non stop for days... I've
gotten many things working, but not statically linking the .cxx.

(actually, it links in just fine, but i have no access from lua...
where I do if I do the dll thing)

Please help...
