Hi list, I'm feeling a bit embarassed because I think I asked this before here some time ago, but I can't find the old mails about this - does Sweep allow single-sample editing (which I would need e.g. for precise loop creation)? I seem to remember something like "it can be done if you ./configure with experimental support and then use some magic hotkey", but I can't find the remaining bits of information anywhere.. Anyone? Oh, and if the answer is "no", can you recommend a sample editor that allows doing this? I have seen Audacity can edit single values, but when using it for loop-playback, it sounded pretty horrible (I have a rather short sample I want to loop (in the 20-50 ms range), and it sounds like buffer underruns all the time). Sweep is looping that sample nicely. Thanks, Frank |
