Fixes build for those of us who are stuck with an old version of automake. * configure.ac (AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE, AM_SILENT_RULES): Remove silent-rules from AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE, and instead call AM_SILENT_RULES macro if it is defined.
