Dear Fabien, thank you for these hints. I had thought already about trying the subtraction, but hoped there was a direct way which I had overlooked. These classes made my jaws drop during study, I can imagine they were quite a lot of work. The spurious line is a pity. Maybe I can analyze the vertex array and remove clear faults? Let's see...
