Hi C++11 Why all the rush to change a system that again works universally after a previous mess. The biggest user base for stellarium is still windows and if the code becomes too system dependant we could end up with other problems Changing to Qt 5 is in the wind and Qt5 3d etc. Lets keep the status quo for a bit longer and resolve some of the other ongoing problems. By all means run your own branch with your own compilers but be sure that they can be compiled and run in windows, linux and Mac before any suggestions of merging are made.
