     Hello Stefan. I was checking out the source code of steghide-0.4.6...

bufmanag.cc:
  unsigned long subbuflength = 32768 ;
    Why default sub-buffer length is 32 Kilobytes?

main.cc, setsthdrdmtd() function:
  sthdr_dmtdinfo.prndi.interval_maxlen = 2 * INTERVAL_DEFAULT ;
    Why do you multiply the interval by 2?
