Hello, My current STAF/STAX environment uses a bunch of STAX jobs to perform a number of different tasks on Windows(multiple versions), Linux(multiple versions) and a Solaris 10 machine (sparc) we'll call it SUN10 in this email I use the stax monitor to start the jobs on all the machines. All machines but SUN10 start, run and stop properly in the stax monitor. Jobs on SUN10 start properly, run properly but the processes fail to terminate properly in the stax monitor (they run forever). The native processes execute properly but the staf processes fail to terminate (at least they don't seem to notify the stax monitor). I have a timeout for each of the jobs and on SUN10 the timeout is what terminates the job not the termination of the native process. I'm running the exact same STAF command on all machines so I don't understand what the problem is. Any help would be appreciated. Kyle |
