I haven't used STAX, and don't know the real feasibility of the followin= g: We often use named SEM events to communicate between processes. Additio= nal information is shared/stored/exchanged via a global variable pool. = Perhaps something along those lines can work? Carl ________________________________ From: sta...@li... [mailto:staf-users-admin@li= sts.sourceforge.net] On Behalf Of Phil Klickman Subject: Re: [staf-users] STAX & its JOB QUEUE That's kinda what I expected. So how do I work around that. I can't crea= te a STAF handle for a job queue from a STAX job because the Queue servi= ce does not allow you to specify what queue to receive messages on. The = only one available for a STAX job is the STAX job handles one. So... How= do I communicate back to a STAX job that a request made to a processes = queue has compleated? And still keep the process active. I need to be ab= le to interact between the STAX job and the process. What else is availa= ble to me, or will I need to create somesort of new service for this. Wh= ich I can do, I'm just trying to use what is already available in the ST= AX/STAF world.
