There are a couple of trivial services in the source tree. There is a WhoAmI services in src/staf/services/whoami. There is a Java and a Rexx version located there. There is also an ultra-trivial C service in src/staf/test/hello.cpp. Even though it has a C++ extension, it is pure C code. Note, neither of these services do the things that proper services should, such as check trust levels.
