I did run "make install" after compiling the package but it seems some file are missing. I cannot find "manual/" in the sources so wonder where do the documents come from? Please provide INSTALL file in the top-level of the distribution.

The help files are in a separate package, but I need to reorganise the sourceforge Files page so they get listed properly as a top-level item given I'm failing to update them in sync with the main package release.
See the 2.0.0b1 release for staden-doc: https://sourceforge.net/projects/staden/files/staden/2.0.0b1/staden_doc-2.0.0b1-src.tar.gz/download
Note that this still isn't sufficient as Gap5 documentation is "under development". A euphamism for the fact I've only got half way through it. Tedium, but necessary.
The documentation is a separate download and needs it's own build and install. Which reminds me - I need to upload the new version!
The README.build file should explain this. Granted it probably ought to be called INSTALL for standardisation with most open source programs.
