Hello. I've built a RH9 based cluster, with a dual Xeon box as the root node. When I boot the cluster kernel, I'm unable to ssh into the root node, as any user. After typing in the password, the prompt just hangs. I never get a shell, and ctrl-c is unable to kill the login process. /var/log/messages reports "sshd(pam_unix)[4128]: session closed for user root", or whatever user I try to log in as. I've looked through the list for things like "ssh", "login" and a combination of those, but the only thing I could find that looked relevant was something about commenting out a line about pam_securetty.so in /etc/pam.d/login, which did not help. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks, Peter Backlund |
