Hi Brian, > Historically, we've only accepted patches to base code when it adds, > enhances, or fixes OpenSSI functionality. Ah, sounds like a fair enough policy, thanks for the note, tbh, the patch was just a quick hack to get the thing to compile, and I thought it might be usefull to others as a short term fix. > Your patch looks like it's fixing the base util-linux code itself, > so it's probably better to submit it to the util-linux maintainers > (GNU?). Before doing this, you should confirm that it's a base bug > by attempting to build the base util-linux code (without any OpenSSI > changes). I grabbed the debian source packages for sarge (util-linux-2.12p-4) and sid (currently util-linux-2.12p-7), and neither have a reference to tqueue in cytune.c We seem to be running util-linux-2.10. Are we based off of a previous debian mainline package, or the 'pure' upstream from debian minus the debian patches ? I could generate a diff of the ssi changes, and apply that to 2.12p, but while I could test that it compiles (assuming it applies cleanly), I currently have no way to test if it would actually work.
