I've made the small changes necessary to compile SSC under MSVC6; the thing even ran for a few seconds before some wicked error took me down to 640x480 with 16 colors. If anyone can give SDL/GL/Windows porting advice or testing, it is very much appreciated!!
The SourceForge secondary CVS server seems massively delayed (the one that allows to Browse CVS and see the commit and add statistics), but SSC is still there. Go ahead and pull down SSC from CVS or try the preview!
