Hello! SSAX source code is extensively documented. Every function has a "user manual" attached. (ssax:xml->sxml (open-input-file "file.xml") '()) is probably a good start if you want a high-level parser. You can find more docs and papers at http://ssax.sourceforge.net/#Documentation and some examples in SSAX/examples dir in SSAX CVS at http://ssax.sourceforge.net/#CVS BTW: slightly updated version of Neil's port is available at http://pair.com/lisovsky/download/sxml-tools/plt/ as well as sxml*.plt package, which provides SXPath and friends.
