Just a quick question (that turned into many words): We translate (at least the plugins) only against the HEAD of SVN and the updated translations is commited to HEAD. Are they ever back-ported to earlier releases? I'm completely fine with not doing so, but this should be made clear on http://l10n-stats.squirrelmail.org If you plan to contribute translation, only look at the HEAD branch - the other branches are historical data. I'm aware that you can "get copy of latest (the one that was used to generate HEAD stats) locales cvs by downloading file from data directory". However, if people only want to translate one or some plugins, they might as well fetch it from a branch. If they run 1.4.11 they probably look for the translation in the 1.4.11 branch and find that it's not translated - but at the same time the plugin is completely translated on HEAD... Is it only me or are we asking for duplicate work here? Regards, Hans PS! Do we handle the main translation of SM differently - probably not. I explicitly sent a translation for 1.4.11 and HEAD, but 1.5.1 wasn't updated. |
