In a mail header, there's this string: =3D?ISO-8859-7?B?0O/r69wg4+nhIO3hIPThIOHt4fbd8fkg8/Tv?=3D Subject... that translates into (Greek here...) "NEWS: =D0=EF=EB=EB=DC =E3=E9=E1 =ED= =E1 =F4=E1 =E1=ED=E1=F6=DD=F1=F9 =F3=F4=EF Subject..." This works out well in Squirrelmail... Well, not 100% ok. Note the newline after the base64 encoded part and the word "Subject...". 1) In the message list, I get: NEWS: =D0=EF=EB=EB=DC =E3=E9=E1 =ED=E1 =F4=E1 =E1=ED=E1=F6=DD=F1=F9 =F3=F4= =EF that is, the word "Subject" has disappeared. 2) While viewing the message, I get: NEWS: =D0=EF=EB=EB=DC =E3=E9=E1 =ED=E1 =F4=E1 =E1=ED=E1=F6=DD=F1=F9 =F3=F4= =EFSubject... that is, there should be an extra space. What's wrong? If you could point me to some direction, I can look into it in more detail. I'm running 1.4 - latest CVS. This happens regardless of Tomas' recode patch. |
