Hi Paul, i respect your list guidelines but isnt it funny other lists want to have them as bottom posting *g whatever, as i wrote i have allready managed a dav server with the the same login auth like the mailusers ( mysql) so lightning stores its ics files right there in a mail user named dir, ( thats nice and works but it musnt be the future use setup as long as i goal be webmail compatibel and in sync with thunderbird lightning without any additional ex or import) i am sure that squirrel plugin is full ical compliant but it simply handels it data in an other way lightning simply uses always the same ics file to store its data via webdav squirrel splits its up ( i am sure you have good php reasons for this layout ) . You have allready sent me your webdav plugin compatibel version a few months ago , and i gave it a try today, but from config.php i didnt found enough info how to make use of its webdav functions, so should i point thunderbird to a squirrel url ( and the plugin acts magical as dav server , or is the plugin itself act as a webdavclient , an i should give the url path to my webdav server ics file when creating a new calendar? And or or is apache setup involved here? And how users auth is managed then.... what i need is only viewing and editing the thnderbird ics file in a webmail calendar layout , i think this could be done with symlinks or webdav/ftp put..get etc i.e editing .procmail for local users, something like that i expect the import and export function from the existing plugin to work with lightning ( havent tried yet) but thats not, what i want sorry lot of questions but iam not really clear whith plugin and webdav stuff in squirrel.
