sounds like you tried to download and install this plugin from the websit=
e
(you say you've tried a couple versions?)...  this plugin comes
preinstalled with your SquirrelMail tarball - if you downloaded and
installed another version, you have effectively broken it.  Please grab
the plugin directory from the main Squirrelmail source tarball to correct
the problem.
