Attached you will find a diff patch for SM-1.5-CVS (just performed an
update about 1 hour ago) for a single file "forms.php"

A new arg has been addd to form-generating functions to allow for the
passing of a tag/label/id. To try to make sure this addition does not harm
any other function calls, the new arg is initialized to be ""

If this change is accepted, I'll work to pull forward all of the other
changes to the places in SM where these functions are called, and places
where tables are generated and forms are created which do not use these
functions.

This patch alone should have zero effect on the displayed content of web
pages. If it works as expected, then tags/labels/id may be added
incrementally without a single big change to many files all at once.
