Hello I have an installation of Squirrelmail (1.4.3a) in production using a postgreSQL database as a backend for saving 'addressbook', 'userprefs', 'sessions' and some 'history/statistics data'. Everything works fine but I can see a strange behavior in the database used for addressbook/userprefs: - The number of 'commits' and 'rollbacks' to this database is almost identical.=20 'rollbacks' only happen when a transaction is not finished. The normal thing will be to have some 'rollbacks' but not this high number. Anybody knows how the code for db-backend is implemented in SM? I suspect that the problem is in the code and it will be great to help to fix it. Some data from postgreSQL: ------------------------------------------------- datname numbackends xact_commit xact_rollback=20 ------------------------------------------------- webmail 88 7.882.999 7.968.206=20 webmail_stats 1 4.531.783 1.902=20 www_sessions 6 38.022.853 90=20 ------------------------------------------------- Ideas? --=20 Rafael Martinez, <r.m...@us...> Center for Information Technology Services University of Oslo, Norway |
