I'm modified a things (lots of bug fixes) and now have a more updated version. I've also included a modified conf.pl. The new conf.pl changes option 6 "Address Books (LDAP)" to be just "Address Book" since now we will be doing alot more stuff in here than just LDAP. It allows you to now choose whether the personal addressbook will be a Standard File (old way), Vcard File (new extended wat), or a SQL Database (and later possibly a SQL version of the vcard). It also allows you to specify whether to have a global address book and can specify the file location (instead of the uncommenting you now have to do in the core). It also allows you to enable/disable your LDAP Addressbook without having to delete the servers from the list (incase you have to take them down for abit and don't want to have to reenter all the info). Just to note, changing the type to SQL will show the 2 extra options (DSN and table) that are currently in main option 9, they show the same thing, and use the same variables, it just feels more appropriate to show them in both, since in this area they overlap. Just to note, most of these options are effective without the changes I have made in the rest of the files, so just overriding conf.pl will not give you all the extra stuff. Also, be sure to save in conf.pl at least once for some of the new variables to get in config.php. Anyways, let me know if you find and more changes/modifications that need to be done, otherwise its fairly complete and ready to go in. I would like to add some more of the fields that the RFC allows (picture, ect...) but that can wait for the future. And again, since I'm on a windows box (and not at home) all I have to send is the override files, no diffs for now (unless someone else wants to post them) Jimmy |
