I've got a squirrelmail/vpopmail setup and I'm trying to find the easiest way to allow users to change passwords, set forwards, etc, basically do those things that are available via qmailadmin. It looks like the 'vpopmail account administration' plugin is what I want but it comes with a rather large caveat - web server must run as same user as vpopmail. Question 1) Is there another way for my users, via the squirrelmail interface, to modify their password, forwards, etc (in the vpopmail MySQL db) with another plugin(s)? Question 2) Is there a nicer method, using SUID or something to allow 'vpopmail account administration' to run without having to change apache's uid? How does everyone else let their users manage their own passwords, etc? dave |
