If that is done then all you need to do is edit the pam configuration so that UW-IMAP is authenticating against the smb_auth module. Note that the smb module only provides an authentication service, so you would not be able to change user passwords through imap (and so you should change the password module to pam_deny or pam_permit). =20 The conventional set-up for UW-IMAP still requires local accounts. If you are trying to run it in black-box mode then you could also change the account and session modules from pam_unix to pam_permit. --=20 Bruce I am now a little wary of bananas. |
