I read an article that the SoBig/Blaster and other viruses happened to knock out the set of RBLs that earthlink happened to be using. So earthlink starting rejecting perfectly valid email because their MTA or SMTP proxies, or whatever, could not connect to the RBLs. Perhaps that was just some erroneous assumptions going on there, as in: if you don't receive an answer from the RBL then assume it's spam. l8'r, Brad |
