[SM-DEVEL] Call to undefined function: getpref()

Just downloaded the 2002119_1210 CVS package and installed it. I'm currently
running RH 7.2 with rpm's of Mysql-3.23.41, Apache-1.3.22 and PHP-4.0.6. I'm
using Mysql as backend for Addressbook and Preferences, and created the
databases as specified. By default, mysql was not enabled, and everything
worked in SQ. Then I added the @addrbook_dsn to config.php for my
Mysql-addrbook, and that also worked fine. However, after editing
db_prefs.php with correct DSN and renamed it to prefs.php, things started to
mess up

I've tried on several machines (RH 7.1/7.2), both with RPM-versions as well
as self-compiled versions of Apache/Mysql/PHP. All seems to have the same
problem when I try to access Preferences stored in MySQL. The very same
problem have occured since 1.2.0 rc3 and onwards.

Anyone??
