Greetings list-members! Ok, Tyler has convinced _me_. The priority plugin should probably remain as a plugin. Provided that the smtp_send-hook is added to the core. (I don't know if the current patch places this hook at a optimal place. I suspect that if one is using the sendmail feature to send the messages the hook will never be executed, any comments on this ?) To answer Tylers question about whos approval one needs to put something into the core I would say "The maintainer". IMHO he (or she) must have the final word about what is being put into the core or what should be considered plugins/third-party-patches. No voting procedure can ever over throw the power of the maintainer (but a wise maintainer listens to his/hers users/co-developers). When it comes to the priority-plugin issue it was Peter who asked me to create a patch that added the priority feature into the core so I would like his ruling in this matter before anything is considered to be decided. Totaly of-topic: Is it just me, or is the plugin admin pages not working at the moment ? I was just about to upload a new version of the email_priority-plugin and the file manager gave me a nice page of MySQL error messages. -- Virtually Yours Pontus Ullgren Software Designer & Linux Zealot e-mail: pon...@ad... irc: Ponty @ #visby on EFNet -- Q: What is a Zealot ?
