Dear SquashFS I have TBs of archived data on SquashFS volumes. It has always worked great for me, so a big thank you to all the devs. However, after upgrading to Fedora 11, which contains the 2.6.29 kernel with SquashFS in-tree, I can no longer mount my archives. This is what I get in dmesg: SQUASHFS error: Major/Minor mismatch, older Squashfs 3.1 filesystems are unsupported Why, oh why, would you drop support for older versions of a filesystem "intended for general read-only filesystem use, for archival use (i.e. in cases where a .tar.gz file may be used)"? But enough whining, is there anything I can do to fix the situation other than extracting all the data with the command line tool to a scratch location and generate new 4.0 filesystems?
