This bug affects filesystems where there are duplicate sparse files. You can download a fixed Mksquashfs from the Squashfs CVS repository (follow the link off the http://squashfs.sourceforge.net summary page). Alternatively, the quickest way to determine if you're hitting this bug is to specify the -no-sparse option on the Mksquashfs 3.3 command line. This, by preventing Mksquashfs from detecting sparse files, will stop the bug from occurring. Please say whether either of the above fixes your problem. Thanks Phillip |
