I just committed an implementation in scripts/sqlobject-admin. It finds classes and can create and drop tables. Still to be done: * more ways to find classes (which is all about import magic, not anything SQLObject-related) * comparison against database * the versioning stuff -- storing version info on disk and in database, and querying and updating how those two fit together * perhaps a way to store configuration options (that will fit with the actual runtime as well) * creating actual databases, not just tables * clearing tables Hopefully the script itself is self-explanatory. Though I intended to make it CLI-neutral, it didn't turn out that way... but there's not much worth making neutral at this point. Maybe the versioning stuff will be more important, since people can use that for installers and upgraders and that sort of thing. -- Ian Bicking / ia...@co... / http://blog.ianbicking.org |
