Hi, Well file this under trivia, SP3 fixes the Serbian latin culture. My dev box has all tests passing for 1.0,1.1,2.0. I'll update the cc-net build machine later today. Thanks for digging into this Erich! Mark -----Original Message----- From: spr...@li... At the moment it seems like Serbian cyrlic works but not latin works on .net 1.0 with SP2.... Yea, it is just a quirk for serbian, though I guess it brought to our attention all the issues coming with vista as compared to .net 1.0.... This might explain why the build is working on my machine but not on ccnet. btw: since mono 1.2.3 also fails to build the Spring.Core.Tests assembly due to culture issues, I created a little script to list all available cultures in different clr families/versions. You can find the CSVs attached to this mail. Maybe we should switch to less exotic languages than serbian in our tests (sorry Aleks *bg*). As you can see from the tables, "sr" is only supported on ms-clr. -Erich ________________________________ From: Mark Pollack [mailto:mpo...@in...] Sent: Tuesday, May 15, 2007 11:05 AM To: Erich Eichinger Cc: 'Bruno Baia'; 'Aleksandar Seovic' Subject: RE: ccnet failure with 1.0 build Hi, Yes, generally speaking it was around this issue. On .NET 2.0 I added CultureInfoUtils to pick the correct culture name. For .NET 1.1 I had to modify the Spring.Core.Tests.build file to create the embedded resources 'manually', ie resgen/al, instead of the csc task. I don't know about .NET 1.0, but I'll give it a whirl now. BTW, there is service pack 3 for .net 1.0 is out. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=6978d761-4a92-4106- a9bc-83e78d4abc5b&displaylang=en http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=867461 I didn't notice anything related to cultures in the list of bugs fixed ,but we should update to SP3 at some point. Expected length=17, but was length=18. Strings differ at index 0. expected: <"Ovo je Spring.NET"> but was: <"This is Spring.NET"> This happened with the 1.0 build altough the build log states that all resource files are in place (at least as far as I can see) I'll remove the 1.0 build again from the nant script and see, if this helps. cheers, Erich ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
