Hi all, i played NFS Shift thses days and i found an interestiing detail, they use a tiny fog and blur to bring more depth into the landscape. So things that re far awy become lower contrast and focus. I know blurring depends on shaders that we do not have but fog is a very old school method we can use: http://www.swiftless.com/tutorials/opengl/fog.html Of course in our case the color, view range and density depends on the weather condition.
