USB questions Was Re: [Spca50x-devs] usb-snoops format

OK, I'm using SnoopyPro to monitor USB activity and I have some questions.



First, I see the Get_Descriptor calls (three of them-1 device and 2 config
with a function code of 0x08.  Next I see something I don't understand,
these are a series of VENDOR_DEVICE calls (function code 017, bRequest = 03)
to the device and the response is a CONTROL_TRANSFER and sends 4 bytes to
the host.  There are a 150+ of these vendor device calls and I don't know
what they are for.



What is this information? This is for a SPCA501 bridge device (Vendor ID =
0x0733 and Prod Id = 0x401), or, Intel CS330.
