That's the puzzling thing ... it seemed to be completely ignoring the contents of config.h. I ran the file through gcc -E (with all the other usual options), and I saw the line number tags from config.h in the preprocessor output ... and nothing in between them. When I changed #include <config.h> to #include "../../config.h", the expected contents showed up in the output from the preprocessor. The weird thing is that there isn't, as far as I can tell, another config.h on the system include path.... -mental |
