If you `dd if=/dev/hda of=/dev/null`, you may find that the RRER increases by about 40,000,000. All of the normalized values are excellent. However, I'm a little suspicious of the error log - the status register is a copy of the command register, and the error register is a copy of the features register, so the error log is not worth a dime. The last error in it is totally confused. Note to developers: the power-on hours actually appears to be in minutes. |
