[smartmontools-support]smartd failing to run multiple tests

Hi again,

I've got a large RAID running on two 3ware cards (smartmontools is 
version 5.33), and want to run checks overnight on every disk. My 
smartd.conf looks like (there are extra flags '-o on -S on' on every 
line, but removed to avoid wrapping):

Short tests take a couple of minutes, long tests a couple of hours - so 
there should be no overlap (or at least not much) when they're running.

However, what I actually get running looks like (exert from syslog):

starting scheduled Short Self-Test.

I know there is a 30-minute enforced delay between tests, but that 
should only be with respect to tests on the same disk. Is there a sane 
reason why am I only getting tests every 3 hours?
