I'll accept any well written patch. However the only way to avoid the error is to NOT issue the command if the drive is ATA-4. But *some* ATA-4 drives DO support this command, even though it was only introduced in ATA-5. So the bottom line is that since most drives now in circulation are ATA-5 and above, it's probably better just to leave the code as is.
