Hugo, As the warning message and documentation states, unless the 1.02.00.036 3w-xxxx driver has been patched, you CAN NOT trust the SMART RETURN STATUS value, ie this line of output: SMART overall-health self-assessment test result: PASSED I don't know why the SMART READ LOG commands are failing. Could you please see if these commands also fail with the 1.02.00.037 ? If they do, could you please tell me some additional details about your machines (processor, kernel, OS version, distribution).
