[smartmontools-support] smartctl says I have 88 uncorrected blocks, but test don't find them

Hi all.

A computing cluster node has a HDD with a lot of error blocks.  Log and
"smartctl -A /dev/sda" says:

197 Current_Pending_Sector  0x0012   096   096   000    Old_age   Always       -       88
198 Offline_Uncorrectable   0x0010   096   096   000    Old_age   Offline      -       88

But, whenver I execute a long test and want to know the result with
"smartctl -l selftest /dev/sda" I get:

# 1  Extended offline    Completed without error       00%     41534         -

I read the Bad Block HOWTO and searched the mailing lists, but couldn't
discover why this happends.  If the tests are ok, shouldn't they say
there is no bad block?
