I'm using "smartctl 5.42" on a 17" G4 PowerBook running Mac OS X 10.4.11 (all updates installed). The "configure", "make", and "make install" all worked with no error (I have the output). Is the problem: - the "eSATA-2" in the "Device Model: eSATA-2 ST9500420AS"? - the Cardbus eSATA interface "SeriTek/1SM2 cardbus card"? - something else?
