Hi, hdd , a 80 Go pata Seagate Barracuda 7200.7., 1 linux partition (full disk) mke2fs with -c -c (bad blocks read-write test) => everything fine but (after the periodical test of smartd) 7081 Currently unreadable (pending) sectors and 7081 Offline uncorrectable sectors "Bad block HOWTO for smartmontools" and web search seems to indicate that writing to the sector shall trigger reallocation and therefore the smart attributes shall comes back to 0. I'd appreciate some help for the interpretation. - what can explain the "incoherence" of no bad blocks (according to badblocks write test) and the smart attributes CurrentPendingSector and OfflineUncorrectableSector with non zero value? - Should that drive be considered healthy or not?
