This tells me that it doesn't know what user it is supposed to be - so it
isn't a problem with Password.pm

I normally get this when running something from the command line and
forget to specify which slash site it is.

 this is where I would do more investigation.

Don't you have a file like
/usr/local/slash/site/sitename/sitename.conf
which you include in the main slash include, which you include into the
httpd.conf?

Do you know you have the right httpd.conf?

do you have virtual hosts?

tr moving the line around...
