Hi, I have a user on a slashcode based website that is reporting the following error. He reports that he "Can't create a Discussion". I'm not sure what he means by that, and the answers to my questions have not been especially informative. This is what he reported from his last try: I have had no problems either submitting stories or adding comments to existing discussions, but then again, I'm the administrator of the site. And I was able to create a new discussion from the "active discussions" page, but I'm not really sure how a new discussion unattached to a story works. I'm wondering if that is what he is trying to do? Oh... and this problem occurred on both Slashcode 2.2.5 and 2.2.6. I upgraded to 2.2.6 after he reported the problem. I don't see anything suspicious in the logs. Suggestions? Thanks, George ---------------- I got to try again: still no soap. Here's the output: Invalid form key: 14KiimO0U8 ! If you this error seems to be incorrect, please provide the following in your report to SourceForge.net: Browser type (He tried both Netscape and IE) User ID/Nickname or AC (He was logged in as a user) What steps caused this error (He has not answered this one yet.) Whether or not you know your ISP to be using a proxy or some sort of service that gives you an IP that others are using simultaneously. (No... he is not going through a proxy) How many posts to this form you successfully submitted during the day * Please choose 'formkeys' for the category! One thing I noticed is that I seem to get an error that the host can't be found the first time that I try to connect to the web site. |
